Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin is still answering questions regarding the mankad controversy as people often question his conscience. After causing quite a stir in the cricket world, the spinner is still standing by his decision to do what the laws permitted.
English Test cricketer James Anderson recently took a jibe at Ashwin by shredding a photo of the spinner in reaction to him mankading his teammate Jos Buttler. When asked about the video, Ashwin said that he does not feel ashamed of what he did.
“Today Jimmy Anderson might feel that whatever I did was wrong but maybe tomorrow, he might end up doing it. Whatever I say will raise some eyebrows in terms of what my opinion on that is. That is why I didn't feel the necessity to explain myself as well,” he further added.
