Ganguly still deems Kohli crucial to RCB’s fightback

Things do not seem to be going RCB's way as they have lost 5 games on the trot this season. The recent game against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) proved to be another Andre Russell power show as he tore apart the RCB bowling.

Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is confident that Kohli would lead the Bangalore franchise out of misery and help them reach the next stage of the tournament.

“I won’t rule out RCB as there is still time and I hope to see him take the team forward.” Kohli is just like what Ganguly was during his days as captain; aggressive, passionate and talented. As a result, the 46-year-old would know how Kohli would go about with his Bangalore franchise,” he added.

The Delhi Capitals advisor also warned other teams to be wary of the run machine as he would return to form in any game, which he actually did in the most recent KKR game.
