Mumbai Indians pacer Alzarri Joseph entered into record books with his astounding spell of 6/12 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Clocking tremendously high speeds out in the middle, Joseph’s intimidating pace bowling blew away the Hyderabad batting lineup as he had an amazing debut IPL appearance to remember.
Following his stupendous spell of fast bowling, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma was hugely impressed to the youngster’s dedication to the game. Talking in an interview with his skipper, Joseph stated, “I don’t really celebrate wickets, I celebrate wins. My aim isn’t just to get wickets but to win the game for my team. It’s not something I really play for. I only play for wins, not the limelight.”
Blown away by his humble attitude and selfless character, Rohit dished out praise for the 22-year-old. He particularly singled out this statement of Joseph’s as testimonial to his undying love for the game.
