Legendary swing bowler Wasim Akram has stressed on the importance of having a controlled diet in order to excel on the field. In a recent event, Wasim while interacting with the press claimed that players needed to focus on their dietary habits in a bid to exhibit athleticism against their opponents.
“Players are still being served biryani, you cannot compete against champions by feeding them biryani,” he said. The former skipper has routinely emphasized on the fact cricketers need to cut down on their high calories intake, to put up a good show on the field.
