The Delhi Capitals (DC) have a much better squad this year as they have bought players like Colin Ingram, Sandeep Lamichhane, Colin Munro, and other big names to play under the mentorship of Ricky Ponting, Mohammad Kaif, and Sourav Ganguly.
Under-19 World Cup winning captain Prithvi Shaw is also part of Delhi this year and he has done reasonably well in the tournament so far. The youngster is really pleased on getting the opportunity to play under some of the greats of the game.
“They've already played 15-20 years of international cricket. They know how to handle a youngster because they've also been in those days. They know how to handle pressure, they know how to talk to them. Not maybe technically, not on skills, but mentally how to prepare. I just question a lot to them because I want to take all the things they've done - how to score runs, how to tackle situations,” he said while elaborating on his experience.
