After registering five consecutive losses in the ongoing season of the glitzy Indian Premier League (IPL), cricket enthusiasts expected Royal Challengers Bangalore to come hard against Delhi Capitals. However, it proved to be the same old story as the franchise representing the capital of the country thumped RCB to get their third victory of the tournament.
Virat Kohli, the skipper of RCB, looks crest-fallen as the teammates aren’t turning up which saw the franchise losing games they should have pocketed easily. The Delhi born cricketer had no shame in admitting his side’s failures as he stated that his unit was defeated in all the three departments of the game.
Sharing his frustration at the presentation ceremony after the game against Delhi, the 30-year old cricketer said that not being good enough on the given day has been the story of RCB this season.
Moreover, the champion batsman advised his teammates to relax and to enjoy the game as this will mitigate the pressure and help them give their best shot in the remaining games of the tourney.
