West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell has been in sublime touch with the bat during the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The six-hitting machine has been unstoppable as he has already hit 25 maximums in just 6 games this season.
The Jamaican nearly ruined the return of CSK to the IPL last year when he hammered 88 off just 36 balls at the Chidambaram Stadium. Recalling the frightening attack by Russell, CSK skipper MS Dhoni said that it was a nightmare for the whole team as they had to experience such brutal hitting.
He said that the allowed fielders inside in the boundary rope are not enough to stop the KKR all-rounder as fielders are needed outside the ground to catch his hits.
