Warner nearly escapes Ashwin’s mankad attempt

Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin would always be associated with the mankad law from now on as he has been involved in such incidents twice in his career, including a recent one against Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) Jos Buttler.

During the recent meeting of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with the Kings XI, the former’s skipper, David Warner made sure that he told Ashwin that he was not leaving his crease before the delivery of the ball.

During one of his overs, Warner deliberately left the crease with his bat on the line. However, in order to make his efforts prominent, Warner slid his bat back into the crease while standing way outside the crease just to let Ashwin know that he would not be mankaded by him.
