However, the existing bowling department of India looks formidable and is one of the reasons for which they would start as one of the favorites to win the World Cup.
Former Indian cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar took some time to reflect on the chances of India in the mega-event which is to be scheduled in England and Wales. The 63-year old is of the view that the Indian unit would step into the all-important 50-over event with their best bowling attack till date.
Highlighting the past woes of the Indian bowling particularly while defending targets, the Maharashtra born added that this bunch seems to have this angle covered. Moreover, the presence of a paceman like Jasprit Bumrah is further boosting his morale as the veteran of 245 International games shared that the Indian team has a great chance of lifting the major 50-over title.
