The emergence of vibrant and enthusiastic fast-bowler Hasan Ali has seen Pakistan regain its X-factor on the field, which had been missing after the retirement of some of the superstars such as Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar.
With his distinct style of celebration and ability to take wickets when all seems lost, Hasan has quickly become the bowler of choice in all formats for Pakistan.
The Champions Trophy in 2017 saw Hasan emerge from the rank of a talented player to that of the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.
The fast bowler was rested by the team management for the ODI series against Australia and he is taking full advantage of this opportunity. In a video posted on his official Instagram account, he can be seen sweating it out in the gym to improve his fitness for the upcoming ICC World Cup.
The 24-year-old won the title of the highest wicket-taker of the Pakistan Super League -2019, as he took 25 wickets at an average of 13.64 in 13 matches. He grabbed four wickets in an innings on three occasions which was also the most by any bowler in the tournament.
