Preity Zinta takes Pashto lessons from Mujeeb

Bollywood starlet and Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta recently uploaded a short clip on Twitter, depicting her sweet interaction with Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Flaunting her knowledge of the Pashto language, Preity showed her best effort to state certain common phrases in Mujeeb’s native tongue.

The video quickly went viral over the internet as Preity asked her fans to identify what exactly is she saying. Apparently, the conversation between the two goes along the lines of Preity inquiring the young spin prodigy about his wellbeing and saying ‘Manana’, which translates to ‘thanks’.

The fun exchange showcases the beauty of the Indian Premier League (IPL) whereby there exists no unfamiliarity between the franchise owners and players, and the foreign recruits are made to feel at home. Although Mujeeb hasn’t had an impressive IPL so far, he will be looking to turn things around for the remainder of the tournament.
