Bangladesh’s all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has expressed his desire to represent the country in the upcoming edition of the World Cup. However, the talented cricketer was quick to add that he’s not losing his sleep over a potential World Cup berth as his focus remains on performing well in the domestic circuit.
The 22-year old player has featured in only 10 ODIs and 9 T20Is but gave a good account of his skills. Considering the fact that the mega-event would be played in England and Wales, the pace bowling all-rounders are in high demand. This puts Saifuddin in a great place to make his World Cup debut.
The Chittagong born cricketer feels that Bangladesh has enough gas to surprise many teams. Highlighting the calming influence of the skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, the wily player added that it is important to play as a team.
“Like every cricketer, I have a dream of playing in the World Cup. If I get a chance to play in the World Cup, it will be a dream come true,” shared by Mohammad Saifuddin.
