Sindh Government optimistic to promote cricket in the province

While the Pakistani nation largely remained deprived of witnessing the action-packed cricketing events at the home grounds, the last edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) thrilled the masses of the country with as many as 8 PSL games.

Inspired by a successful staging of Pakistan’s darling T20 league at Karachi, Government of Sindh has expressed their willingness for the promotion of cricket in the region.

Sindh’s Minister for Local Government, Public Health Engineering, Rural Development and Katchi Abadies Saeed Ghani endorsed the idea of fueling the passion for a game which comes across as the most loved sport of the country.

Speaking as the chief guest at a dinner reception at Karachi Gymkhana, the 47-year-old added that the matter of augmenting the seating capacity of the National Stadium or building a new stadium is under consideration.

Moreover, the famous politician promised that his team would leave no stone unturned to make Sindh a viable place for International cricket.
