Mohammad Ilyas reflects on his PSL experience

The last edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) unearthed some sensational fast-bowling talents of the country. Hailing from Peshawar, Mohammad Ilyas is one of them as he bowled strongly and impressed many in Pakistan’s biggest T20 extravaganza.

Even in his debut game in the running season of the Pakistan Cup, Ilyas didn’t fail to amaze the fans. Despite having senior players like Umar Gul and Junaid Khan in the side, the astute bowler produced an impressive outing.

On the sidelines of his team’s defeat against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ilyas was found shedding light on his PSL experience along with revealing his career ambitions. The 20-year old cricketer shared that he really enjoyed his time with Multan Sultans as the veteran cricketers gave him valuable tips by treating him like their younger brother.

Highlighting the prowess of Mohammad Hasnain, Muhammad Musa and Haris Rauf, the skillful cricketer considered it a promising sign for the country. Moreover, Ilyas revealed that he is aiming to hone his skills to a degree which will allow him to become a regular member of the Test team in the next two or three years.
