Speculation of South Africa speedster Dale Steyn joining the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is gaining momentum as the fast bowler took to social media to tease his fans with a photo of his passport which had an Indian visa on.
Royal Challengers Bangalore is having a horror run in the ongoing IPL 2019 as they have lost all of the six matches thus far.
Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile, who did not get to play any match, is set to return home and it is very much likely that Steyn will be his replacement.
Steyn has an impressive IPL record to his name which constitutes of 92 wickets in 90 matches with an economy of 6.72 and the best bowling of 3/8. He played for RCB from 2008 to 2010 before joining the now-defunct Deccan Chargers in 2011. He has also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions in the IPL.
