The fourth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was a shining platform for unearthing tremendous pace talent in the country. With an emerging trend of medium-pace bowlers in recent times in Pakistan, it was refreshing to see the likes of Mohammad Hasnain, Muhammad Musa
Talking about his exciting journey in cricket so far, the 18-year-old Musa disclosed his ambitious goals of representing Pakistan soon in the future.
Although he felt a bit disheartened to not get a chance in the recent ODI series versus Australia, Musa appreciated his peer Hasnain for breaking into the national squad.
Shedding light on the competition with his counterparts, Musa believed that this healthy rivalry was instrumental in the growth of the players’ abilities. He also emphasized his intentions to further increase his pace since he claims his strength lies in beating the batsman for pace at the wicket.
He praised Islamabad United coach Waqar Younis for not holding him back and encouraging him to rely on his high speeds.
