Asif Ali is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for Pakistan cricket team. In first-class cricket, Ali represents Faisalabad and plays for Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League. In August 2018, he was one of the thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
An exceptional timer of the ball, Asif Ali came to prominence when he scored a century on his T20 debut for Faisalabad in 2011. That early promise wasn’t followed upon by much.
Asif remained a constant threat in Faisalabad’s T20 side but wasn’t able to utilize his talents in the longer formats. Over the next five years, he became another wonder kid lost to the domestic game. Two years at Islamabad United have revived his career.
Asif Ali is representing team Sindh in the current ongoing Pakistan Cup, in which he celebrates his 50 in the 10th match of the tournament played against Punjab. He played an excellent knock of 62 runs with 7 fours and 3 sixes. Though Sindh couldn’t win the match, his innings was surely an eye candy.
