Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Abbas had an amazing 2018 with the ball as he dominated batsmen in the Test format with his nagging lines and swing bowling. The medium-pacer claimed 66 wickets in just 14 games, becoming the number 1 ranked bowler in the 5-day format.
Abbas’ performances throughout the year earned him a place in the Test team of the year formed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) based on player performances and impact.
The 29-year-old received the cap for the ICC Test team of the year a couple of days ago and was delighted on getting rewarded for his performances, calling it a great honor.
Moreover, Abbas also thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for providing him with an opportunity to play for his country and do well for them against some top-quality teams.
