Chennai Super Kings skipper, MS Dhoni became the first captain in Indian Premier League (IPL) to have 100 victories to his name. However, on his memorable win, the CSK captain found himself at the center of controversy after he stormed onto the field to argue about an umpiring call in the 20th over.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes bowled a full toss that was deemed a no-ball by umpire Ulhas Gandhe because it was above the waist. But Gandhe’s colleague at square leg, Australian Bruce Oxenford, overruled him and claimed it was a legal delivery.

This prompted an angry Dhoni to enter the ground and argue animatedly with Gandhe before leg umpire Oxenford calmed him and sent him back.

Following the match, Dhoni was charged 50% of his match fee by the IPL for breaching their code of conduct by entering the field and confronting the umpires.
