Fitness tests for World Cup begin

Pakistan cricketers have started appearing in fitness tests at National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore, ahead of the England tour and International Cricket Council (ICC) 2019 World Cup.

The 15-player squad will be chosen from a list of 23 probable players, who will undergo fitness tests and participate in training sessions at the Gaddafi Stadium from April 13 to 17.

Head coach Mickey Arthur, batting coach Grant Flower, fielding coach Grant Bradburn, physio Cliff Deacon, and trainer Grant Luden are supervising these fitness tests.

"Apart from the 15 World Cup players, two reserve players will also accompany the team for the bilateral series against England," the PCB said in a press release.
