Former Pakistan captain, Aamer Sohail believes that the reigning skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed shouldn’t bat at top of the order as he has enjoyed most of his success batting at six or seven. Sarfaraz has tried batting higher up and had mixed results, and has recently indicated that he would bat higher up the batting order in the upcoming World Cup.

However, Aamer feels that the top spots on the batting lineup should be saved for the specialist batsmen. “Sarfaraz is ideally suited for six or seven and he has got runs at that position so why to disturb him from his comfort zone,” Aamer said.

Furthermore, he also advised the team management to try star batsman, Babar Azam at number four position in the World Cup to get the best out of his abilities.
