Left-handed batsman, Khushdil Shah has impressed everyone with his batting performances in the recently concluded Pakistan Cup 2019 where he stacked up a ton of runs at an astonishing average of 105.33.
The 24-year-old, after his good campaign in the Pakistan Cup, believes that he is now ready to translate his superb domestic form into international cricket as well.
“From what I have seen in the past few years, players who have done well in the Pakistan Cup have easily adapted to life at the international level. Similarly, I am hopeful that with the experience of scoring two hundred in the Pakistan Cup this year and helping my side win with those innings, I am more than ready to make the jump to international cricket if the selectors give me a chance,” he said.
Khushdil possesses an incredible ability to hit massive sixes as he demonstrated this in the Pakistan Cup with fifteen sixes to his name. However, despite being with the Peshawar Zalmi squad in 2017 and 2018, he didn’t get many chances to prove his worth and was left disappointed when he was left unsold in this year’s PSL.
