South African spinner Imran Tahir is having a great time in India as he has been taking wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The 40-year-old has taken 13 wickets in 8 games so far in the tournament.
Tahir recently took career-best figures of 4 for 27 against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as he helped the side in strengthening its top position on the points table.
Following the game, Tahir credited CSK skipper MS Dhoni for his consistent performances in this IPL. He revealed that the Dhoni often helps him in bowling in the right areas by identifying the strengths of a particular batsman.
“I bowled according to how the captain wanted me to bowl. It always is beneficial taking advice from MS Dhoni. He's been helping me a lot this season. Credit goes to him than me,” he said.
