Afghanistan national cricket team player Rashid Khan appears to be their best bowler in the ODIs according to recent stats.
Rashid Khan has taken 123 wickets in last 57 games he played for Afghanistan with an average of 15 per match. He has also topped ICC Player Rankings for bowlers in ODIs in February 2018 and become the youngest player to do so.
Rashid Khan has several records to his name, he captained team Afghanistan for the first time in March 2018 during cricket World Cup Qualifier. He became the youngest player to captain an international side. He did it at the age of 19 only.
In the last of the cricket World Cup Qualifier, against the West Indies, Khan turned into the quickest and most youthful bowler to take 100 wickets in ODIs when he dismissed Shai Hope.
He took 44 matches to take his 100th wicket, breaking the past record of 52 matches, set by Mitchell Starc of Australia. In June 2018, he turned into the quickest bowler, as far as time, to take 50 wickets in T20Is. He achieved the achievement in two years and 220 days, in the first T20I against Bangladesh.
