Despite serving year-long bans, a chunk of the cricket enthusiasts believe that the veteran Australian cricketers David Warner and Steve Smith should not feature in the forthcoming edition of the World Cup event. The ousting of few performers to accommodate the two batters has further strengthened the argument.
However, skipper Aaron Finch has spurned the notion disdainfully as he feels that Smith and Warner has done everything to get back in the yellow Australian jersey. Welcoming the experienced duo into the national side, the flamboyant opening batsman expressed confidence to go well in the mega-event to be hosted by England and Wales.
The 32-year old shared that the team’s culture won’t be dented as there are enough qualified people to take care of the issue. Furthermore, the Victoria born is of the view that the batting form of both the cricketers would be crucial if Australia is to defend their title against some quality opponents.
