Hardik feels time away from cricket was helpful

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is in the form of his life right now as he has been scoring runs and taking wickets quite consistently in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Mumbai Indians (MI).

The 25-year-old recently played a whirlwind innings against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to help his side get over the line with an over to spare. Talking to the media, Hardik said that spending some time away from the game helped him in regaining focus.

“It’s okay. Everyone has a setback. I wanted to improve, and I got some time for my body as well. I think the time I spent out is helping me right now because I’m in a good mind space and everything is coming right,” he said while talking his time away from the game.

Furthermore, the all-rounder is quite happy with his current form which has helped him in booking a spot in the World Cup squad as well.
