The hype for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is peaking with every passing day as teams are gearing up to compete for the world title in England and Wales this summer.
Former English captain Nasser Hussain has warned teams to be wary of the Pakistan side in the upcoming tournament as he pointed out the fact that the green shirts are most dangerous when they are not playing good cricket before main events.
“Talking of hit & miss, look at Pakistan. They’re playing terrible ODI cricket at the moment but that almost makes them more dangerous. One day they’re down the next they’re brilliant, as they showed in the Champions Trophy. So, it’s wide open, it really is,” he said.
Nasser also regarded Pakistan as strong contenders to win the World Cup some time back when asked if he sees an India England final at Lord’s this time around.
