Twitterati erupted with views and analysis as soon as Pakistan's selection committee announced the ICC World Cup 2019 squad on the evening of 18th April. In the pouring tweets, the notable one was Harsha Bhogle's comment on the squad.
He said that Pakistan picked a strong squad for the World Cup. Despite the omission of Mohammad Amir, he still mentioned that the bowling of Pakistan is in the safe hands. Although he did add that Amir's exclusion will be a talk of the town in India keeping in mind his record against the arch-rivals.
Harsha said that Pakistan has enough all-rounders and key batsmen in the middle-order to steady the ship. Lastly, he rated Pakistan's bowling stronger than the batting line-up they possess.
