The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the 15-member squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Babar Azam would be the backbone of batting just like he has been for the past couple of years now.
The 24-year-old is currently participating in the training camp for the World Cup which would end in a few days before the team departs for England. In an interview, Babar said that he is quite excited to take part in the mega event for the first time as he always dreamt of playing the World Cup for Pakistan.
Furthermore, he was also grateful on comparison with Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who is said to be the greatest batsman of this century. However, he feels that he still has a long way to go and it would please him the most if he could win matches for Pakistan consistently and do as much as Kohli has done for his country.
