Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has honored the request of Cricket Australia by agreeing to play a day-night Test on their next tour to the country. Last summer, Australia missed the opportunity for this adventure. However, the Kangaroos are now lined up to play two back-to-back pink-ball contests with New Zealand also agreeing to do so.
From the two-match Test series, it would be the Adelaide Test which will be played under the lights. The tour comprises of two Test matches and three Twenty20 Internationals. While the green shirts wanted to make it a three-game Test series, but the talks weren’t able to reach a successful point.
It is important to note that Pakistan also played a day-night Test on their last tour to Australia which resulted in a heart-breaking defeat for the tourists. Currently, the governing body of the Australian cricket is working on their fixtures for the 2019-20 season with an announcement likely to be made in the next few days.
