India’s high-profile batsman Virat Kohli would step into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 as the leader of the pack for the first time. While the daunting batsman is known to thrill the fans with his superlative batting displays, this time Kohli will have the added responsibility installed on his shoulders.
Recently, the 30-year old cricketer took some time to review his squad for the upcoming mega-event scheduled to be played in England and Wales. The Royal Challengers Bangalore player believes that India would enter the World Cup with an extremely balanced squad which would help them in their campaign.
Furthermore, the Delhi born spurned the notion of getting exhausted in the running season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as he believes that the tournament is helping them prepare for the all-important 10-team tournament.
“We are all very happy with the team. It’s probably the most balanced side that we could have thought of. (Everyone is in) a goof headspace; they are all doing well. Those are the kind of things that are crucial for a team to play well together,” said by India’s exceptional cricketer.
