Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has made an impressive comeback to competitive cricket after missing out on the action for a couple of weeks due to his controversial interview in a TV show.
The youngster has been hitting the ball really well in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Mumbai Indians (MI) as he has scored 218 runs in just 9 games at an astonishing strike rate of 194.64.
The all-rounder has received high acclaim from his elder brother, Krunal Pandya, who also plays for the Mumbai Indians. He revealed that Hardik always puts cricket first and does not let anything distract him from his goals.
“When Hardik was out of the game because of injury and the [suspension] that happened, he utilized that time to work on his fitness. He is the kind of player for whom cricket is a priority, no matter what. His work ethics are second to none. He puts in a lot of hard work,” he said.
Krunal also said that he himself has learned a lot from his youngster brother who never gives up during tough times and always believes in himself.
