Ahead of the cricket’s biggest tournament, ICC World Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to arrange anti-corruption and anti-doping lectures for the World Cup squad before they travel to England.
All the players have been asked to attend the lectures related to anti-doping and anti-corruption on Saturday and Sunday. The officials of PCB's anti-corruption unit will give these lectures.
According to sources, the players will not be allowed to attend private functions and parties during the England series and the World Cup. The players will have to take permission from the team's manager before meeting the non-accredited people.
On the other hand, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is actively involved in eradicating any sort of corruption within the game and has recently joined hands with Interpol as part of its ongoing efforts to combat corruptors in the game.
