Veteran Pakistani all-rounder, Shoaib Malik, opens up his sentiments about the last World Cup that he is going to play for Pakistan. The man who served the country for almost two decades is now on the verge of ending his career in a major ICC tournament.
Shoaib Malik said that this is his last World cup for Pakistan and he wants to win it for the country. Shoaib Malik is the part of Pakistan's squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which will commence from 30th May in England and Wales.
"I believe there is a fantastic combination of young and senior players in this squad. The big thing is that it is my last World Cup and I am in the squad and will try my best to give my all for the team as I have always played for my team, not for myself", he added.
Shoaib Malik has played 282 ODIs for Pakistan and scored 7481 runs at an average of 35.12. Shoaib Malik was not part of the last two ICC Cricket World Cups and this time he dearly wants to do well for the team.
