An Astonishing piece of news broke out in England and surroundings as their ICC Cricket World Cup's opener Alex Hales announced that he was stepping away from cricket. He kept the reason behind this decision as confidential; however, termed it as a personal call.
He has not mentioned the amount of time for which he has taken a surprising break. Alex Hales has been in terrific form in white ball cricket which he played recently. He has played 70 ODIs for England in which he has scored 2419 runs at an average of 37.8.
This decision hit England hard with just a month to go for the World Cup and left the team an opener short. England will have to look for the backup options with immediate effect. Although Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy have also done a great job at the top, England management will look for another top-order batsman in order to fill the gap created.
