Saeed Ajmal academy recruits get international exposure

Spin wizard Saeed Ajmal formed the core of the Pakistan cricket team for a significant period of time during the captaincy tenure of Misbah-ul-Haq. Ever ready to provide Pakistan with crucial breakthroughs, Ajmal was a fantastic operator of spin bowling, as he employed his wide variations with great dexterity.

Unfortunately, the expert exponent of the ‘doosra’ delivery faced an unceremonious exit from international cricket due to the ineffectiveness of his remodeled bowling action. Nevertheless, the 41-year-old has embarked on various projects since retirement, aimed at uplifting the status of the sport in the country.

By virtue of this, the Saeed Ajmal Cricket Academy in his hometown Faisalabad has been doing a lot of good work in polishing the skills of budding cricketers, and giving them the chance to train in top notch facilities.

Recently, the talented bunch of cricketers that were part of the academy have been given the golden opportunity to obtain useful international exposure through a tour to Dubai organized by the authorities.
