Brian Lara is seeing West Indies in World Cup semi-finals

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is just a couple of weeks away and fans are already quite psyched about the mega event which would be reintroduce the round robin format in international cricket.

Former West Indian skipper and one of the greatest batsmen of all time, Brian Lara feels that his home side has a bright chance of making it to the semi-finals of this year’s tournament but only if they play consistent cricket.

“West Indies will have to play some consistent cricket. We've shown that we can beat England or India. We can beat any team on our day. But then we lose against Bangladesh or Afghanistan, and we let it all go away. So, that's what West Indies have to avoid. I would love to see them get to the semi-finals,” he said.

The Caribbean side has been playing some brilliant cricket off late as they recently defeated England at home after losing a close series against India at their home.
