Pakistan’s all-rounder, Imad Wasim believes that the World Cup clash against India is just another match for the Men in Green and has played down the notion of war associated with this mega-clash while stating that they will plan things game by game.
“We know that all eyes are on India vs Pakistan clash in the World Cup but for us, it's just a game,” said the all-rounder. Earlier, chief-selector Inzamam-ul-Haq favoured him by selecting Imad in the World Cup squad despite not being fully fit as per the set fitness standard.
In 11 games since making his comeback against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi, Imad has scored 281 runs from eight knocks at an average of 93.66, while striking at 116.59. The 30-year-old’s bowling record has not been eye-catching but the economy rate of 4.97 suggests he's able to apply brakes on the opposition.
