Pakistan’s aggressive opening batsman, Fakhar Zaman is keen on scoring yet another massive hundred against arch-rivals, India at the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup in England and Wales.
The left-handed batsman announced himself on the world stage after he struck a magnificent match-winning century against India in the Champions Trophy final. “I will try and treat the India match like any other match. I want to repeat my Champions Trophy performance at the World Cup. But of course, the World Cup is an even bigger event,” he said.
The opening batsman revealed that he has been working on his batting flaws, and has especially utilized the rest he got during the recently concluded series against Australia. “The rest I got during the series against Australia has helped me. During this time I worked on my flaws. You will now see a different Fakhar Zaman,” he added.
