Pakistan leg spinner Shadab Khan will miss the restricted overs series against England after reports uncovered that he was experiencing an infection, the Pakistan Cricket Board affirmed on Sunday (April 21). Yasir Shah has been named his substitution.
Shadab is required to take rest for about a month so as to recoup from the infection in before upcoming World Cup, beginning on May 30. PCB is additionally set to mastermind meetings with authorities to look at his case and help the bowling all-rounder to make a total recovery.
Yasir has taken 23 wickets in 24 ODIs. On his last visit to England in 2016, he completed with 19 wickets in four Tests. Yasir, who was a part of the 23 probables, will head out with the side to England on April 23.
