Ajinkya Rahane was under the pump after a few miserable outings in the Indian Premier League edition 12. Rajasthan Royal's opening batsman did not take long to shut the critics and replied them with a thrilling century against Delhi Capitals.
Rahane scored 105 off just 63 balls including 11 classy boundaries and 3 maximums. His innings went in vain after Delhi Capitals chased the target of 192 balls with just 4 balls remaining.
But the innings was certainly a mood lifter for out-form Rahane who was facing immense criticism over his form and poor strike rate.
