SRH would miss Warner and Bairstow – Williamson

The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is nearing its business end as all sides have played at least 10 games so far. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been one of the most impressive sides in this year’s IPL as they currently lie at the number 4 spot with 5 wins.

SRH openers, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow, have been the best opening partners in this year’s tournament as they also smashed centuries in the same innings recently. Skipper Kane Williamson has said that the duo would be missed after their departure in the last phase of the tournament due to national duties.

“They are going to be big losses. They are world class players and they will be missed at the back end,” he said.

Moreover, he also said that the opening partnership between the two prolific batsmen has been the key for SRH in the IPL this time as others have just had to play around them in their specific roles.
