Known as one of the most hard working cricketers of the country, Junaid Khan has managed to register himself in the Pakistani squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The notable absentee came in the form of astute pacer Mohammad Amir who had a terrible run recently in the International cricket.
However, Amir has found himself in the 17-man team for the England series which has made the 5 ODI contests an audition for the upcoming mega-event. Nevertheless, the Multan Sultans pacer reiterated that he carries no pressure of having a player like Amir in the squad.
Instead, he feels that creates a healthy and competitive environment where everyone is striving to bring glory to the nation. The 29-year old cricketer added that he plays every game considering it as his last outing. Moreover, the domestic stalwart is extremely optimistic about Pakistan’s prospects in the 50-over tournament which gets underway in England and Wales on May 30.
