Pakistan’s new bowling sensation, Mohammad Hasnain insists that he is not feeling any kind of pressure ahead of his first major ICC tournament. The fast bowler was included in Pakistan’s squad for the event and was favoured over left-arm seamers Mohammad Amir and Usman Khan Shinwari.
Hasnain made the headlines after his stellar show in the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he claimed 12 wickets in seven games at an average of 17.58 to help Quetta Gladiators win their maiden PSL title.
“I am not under any pressure of the World Cup, and will try my level best to come up to the expectations of the nation and selectors,” said Hasnain. He stated he will not only be relying on his brute pace but also on line and length at the mega event.
