Pakistan captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed and head-coach, Mickey Arthur held a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore before departing to England. The duo was confident of Pakistan’s chances at the World Cup and vowed to not disappoint the fans.
Mickey Arthur has revealed Pakistan team’s first objective going into the World Cup. He stated that the first target is to qualify for top-four of the tournament, as he believes Pakistan have a balanced squad and will show good performances in the mega event.
“We have been struggling for World Cup for the last two years and now we are fully prepared for it. Our team consists of balanced players with all types of variety in both bowling and batting department,” he said.
