Pakistan’s head coach Mickey Arthur interacted with media before departing for England where he rated the Karachi Kings player as the best batsman of this line-up. Averaging 51.29 with the willow, Babar sits at the 7th spot in the batting rankings.
This has led Mickey to grow massive expectations from the 24-year old batsman. Moreover, the Johannesburg born is of the view that the green shirts are carrying a sturdy squad which has all the ingredients to win the forthcoming tournament.
Sharing his views on the Lahore born cricketer, the 50-year old added, “Our expectations are high from Babar Azam as he’s our best batsman. He is so talented; he is a batsman who gets the required scores.”
