Rashid Khan has become a household name among Indian cricket fans, following his fantastic performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) over the years. The young leg-spinner’s unmatched ability to outfox batsmen with his eclectic arsenal of spin variations has placed him on a pedestal above the rest.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old has expressed his intentions to work upon his batting to establish his reputation as a proper all-rounder. Often giving glimpses of his power hitting skills, Rashid claimed that he takes his batting very seriously and hopes to climb the ladder of excellence in this skill.
“Batting came naturally to me. I was a batsmen first and then a leg-spinner, so that aspect always fascinated me. Cricket is my life, so the amount of time I devote to my bowling, I try to give to batting as well. So I try to balance both. I am trying to improve my batting as much possible,” he stated.
