“As a cricketer, you always target World Cup and it’s disappointing for me that I will not be a part of this year’s mega event,” said Wahab. He said that he was Pakistan’s best bowler in the last edition of the World Cup where he peppered the opposing batsmen with menacing short deliveries.
Wahab added that as a player, his job was to perform well and rest depends on the selectors and hopes that the team management has better plans for an all-important tournament. “I have tried to perform whenever gets an opportunity. If you see my record then I have taken wickets in the UAE where the conditions don’t suit to the fast bowlers,” he added.
