Pakistan’s team has already reached England to participate in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament. Before that, the green shirts would be found battling the hosts in a T20I game followed by 5 ODIs.
Many believe that the series would provide an excellent experience to Pakistani players to get familiar with the conditions and young paceman Mir Hamza has no reasons to disagree.
The 26-year old cricketer who is currently playing county cricket for Sussex believes that Pakistan has a good chance of lifting the World Cup. Highlighting the significance of reverse swing and the ability of Pakistan’s pace battery, Hamza predicted Pakistan to go well in the mega-event.
Sharing his views on the prospects of the boys in green, the Karachi born added, “I would say that Pakistan are strong favorites to win the World Cup. The reason of this rests on the fact that the sides who are good with the reverse-swing have done well here. Knowing the capabilities of our team, we can test any opposition even if we don’t score big.”
