With only a month to go in the much awaited ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 event, International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the match officials for the league stage of the tournament which consists of 45 games.
List of match officials comprises of 16 umpires and 6 match referees which also includes former cricketers. The governing body of the International cricket believes that they have named the best available choices for the mega-event as they aim to keep the mistakes to a minimum level.
Moreover, all the match officials are yearning for the 10-team tournament as they look forward to play their part. The iconic event is to commence from May 30 in England and Wales where hosts England would be witnessed battling South Africa in the opening game of the tournament.
